Continuing Perceptual Studies in Osteopathy
Osteopathy and Christianity
Gregory Yesensky D.O.

CME: Pending approval for Category 1A

Perception in Treatment is important for Osteopaths.” Be Still and Know” as Dr. Rollin Becker discussed affords a level of compassion, which is vital in helping patients recognize Health. The Health inside us-“Imago Dei: Made in His Image, Male and Female He Created Them” Genesis 1:27

This is not just the backbone of Christian doctrine, but a postulate in Osteopathy and recognized by Dr. Still in his writings. Dr Jealous would say that Osteopathy is a monastic science. His Perceptual Odyssey culminated in understanding and acknowledging this perceptual field.  This course is a look into the research and study that Dr. Jealous and I shared viewing the relationship and similarities of Christian ideals with in Osteopathic concepts.  Examples include: Dr. Still’s discussion of Body, Soul, and Spirit. , The Divine Maternal in the Natural World, The Presence of the Tide, the Supreme Intelligence, Connectivity, exploring the power of creation in metabolic movement and other concepts that will provide the participant a hands on experience of these principles in practice.

This is a perceptual study course. It is meant to assist the participant in continuing their own personal journey to connection with Primary Respiration. It is not a political or religion course.
