Audio Lecture Series by Dr. Jealous

James Jealous DO

About the Series

Dr. Jealous created these audio lectures that include approximately 60 minutes of lecture, discussion, skills exercises and recommended reading. The lectures reflect 45 years of traditional osteopathic thinking by Dr. Jealous. The lectures center on general practice and primary care situations and discuss the use of osteopathic principles and practice from a variety of perspectives.  As these lectures were created it is important to note that each lecture is uniquely created and related to earlier and later lectures.

Embryology from a Biodynamic Perspective

New DVD lecture set with Dr. Brian Freeman PhD

In July 2010 Dr. Brian Freeman PhD, embryologist and editor/translator of Dr. Bledscmitt’s recent text “A Biodynamic View of Human Development,” visited Bath, UK, and delivered a series of 12 lectures on the Biodynamic View of Human Embryology, to an audience of 130 osteopaths.

The lectures and Q&A sessions were recorded on video, edited, and are now presented as a six DVD set. Feedback from osteopaths has been universally positive “these DVDs offer accessibility to the subject of Biodynamic embryology like never before.”

“Osteopathy: An Act of Love”  ( appox. 36 minutes )
This discusses the importance of love as the foundation of successful Osteopathic practice. From its beginning and into the present Osteopathy could not have been discovered nor kept alive in its purity, as Dr. Still envisioned it, without this fulcrum of love.

“The Life and Work of Robert C. Fulford, DO” ( approx. 41 minutes )
This presentation is centered around the humanity of Dr. Robert C. Fulford, DO. Clarification regarding Dr. Fulford’s life and ideas are discussed. Understanding a great soul like Dr. Fulford can be elusive. He gave short replies to inquires that may have desired more explanation. Finally, the conclusion purposes what the Osteopathic profession could do to improve an earlier recognition of such a gifted resource like Dr. Fulford.
