About Werner van Camp, D.O., MSc.Ost. 

Werner originally studied physiotherapy, obtaining a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Antwerp in 1984. He later studied osteopathy, earning a Diploma in Osteopathy at the Institute William Garner Sutherland in 1990; later that year he moved to Switzerland and gained a second Diploma in Osteopathy at the Swiss School of Osteopathy at Belmont, Lausanne. Werner attained a Master of Science degree in Osteopathy as well a Post-graduate Certificate in Educational Science at the University College of Osteopathy in London (formerly the British School of Osteopathy).

Since 1990 Werner has been practicing, and teaching, at his private clinic: The Meeting Place, Centre Thérapeutique Medica in Crans Montana, Switzerland.

Werner has been fortunate enough to have had many great teachers, including Sue Turner, Renzo Molinari, Patrick Van den Heede, Frank Willard, Jane Carreiro and Stuart Korth; he is also extremely grateful to have been personally mentored by Dr James Jealous for many years.

Together with Dr Jealous, Werner founded the European Academy for Traditional Osteopathy (EATO), a platform to organise osteopathic courses and clinics following in the philosophy of their teachers. Due to Werner’s passion to treat children and pregnant women, he and Dr Jealous also founded the Swiss Osteopathic Center for Kids (SOCK) and Dr Jealous guided him in the creation of the SOCK Treatment of Children Training Program.

Today Werner is still happily living in Switzerland with his wife Rébecca and their six children: Hanne, Jeff, Chloé, Emma, Liam and Noah. He is the Director of EATO, SOCK and the SOCK Treatment of Children Training Program and is a long time Member of The Biodynamics of Osteopathy Teaching Faculty under the direction of Dr James Jealous. He also organises and works in clinics and charity paediatric clinics in several countries. Werner has taught in Belgium, The Netherlands, Russia, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Scotland, Finland, Latvia, Estonia and Sweden.

• Teaching the Biodynamic Model Phase program under direction of James S. Jealous.
• Teaching the Biodynamic Model Treatment of Children program under direction of Dr. James S. Jealous.
• Teaching in the Swiss Osteopathic Center for Kids Training Program.
  Agreed Teacher at the Moscow Institute of Osteopathy since 2011.
  Lecturer at several symposia and (Russian Open at Kazan 2017) (Eurasian Congress for Osteopathy 2015, 2019, 2022) (German International VOD congress 2013) etc
