About Olga Steggerda D.O., M.D.

Born in St Petersburg, Russia, Olga Steggerda decided to follow in her father’s footsteps by choosing a life in the Medical field.

Dr Olga Steggerda is a graduate of the State Medical Academy of Saint Petersburg, Russia as a Medical Doctor with a specialization in Neurology.

After moving to Riga, Latvia, she was one of the first students to finish the post graduate course in Osteopathy at the Baltic School of Osteopathy in Riga and is registered as a Doctor of Osteopathy with the Baltic Osteopathic Association.

Dr Steggerda is also a graduate of the London College of Osteopathic Medicine (LCOM) and is a member of the General Osteopathic Council in the United Kingdom.

As a lecturer at the Institute of Osteopathy of the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and State University of Saint Petersburg, Dr Steggerda regularly lectures at universities both in Russia and internationally. Dr Steggerda is registered at the Russian Register of Osteopaths.

After extensive training in Biodynamics with Dr James Jealous in the USA, Dr Steggerda also became a Member of the Teaching Faculty of The Center for Traditional Osteopathy.

Residing in Riga, Latvia with her husband and two grown up sons, Dr Steggerda runs a private
Osteopathic practice in Riga where a variety of patients are consulted.

Besides practical work, Dr Steggerda also conducted medical research and has published scientific work in the Russian Osteopathic Journal.

Dr Steggerda has a deep interest in Embryological development.

That is why she not only teaches cranial Osteopathy, Biodynamic phases and Pediatrics but also has developed her own curriculum on the biodynamic aspects of Embryology.
