• In 1981 graduated from the Department of General Medicine of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University .
• In 1981-82 he had the primary specialization, postgraduate education in neurology.
• In 1989 the primary specialization in manual therapy (GIDUV in Kazan).
• From 1980 to 1995 Litvinov I. A. completed various advanced training courses in manual therapy (GIDUV in Novokuznetsk).
• In 1997-2001 Litvinov I. A. studied at the European School of Osteopathic Medicine (Great Britain, Maidstone).
• Participant of many osteopathic forums in Russia and abroad (USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Austria). Completed more than 180 postgraduate seminars on osteopathy.
• In 2001-2003 he worked at the Russian Graduate School of Osteopathic Medicine (RVSHOM) as a lecturer, curator of the course on structural osteopathy, vice-rector for organizational and methodological work.
• Author of a number of general-purpose, practical and scientific publications on manual therapy and osteopathy.
• Since 2005, member of the Russian Register of Osteopaths (RRDO).
• Since 2006, member of the board of the RRDO.
• From 2006 to 2010, chairman of the Moscow branch of the RRDO.
• Since 2011, member of the ROSA (Russian Osteopathic Association).
• From 2015 to 2023, member of the Board of the ROSA.

In 2005, he organized the first Private School of Postgraduate Osteopathic Education in Russia – the “PILOT” program. From September 2005 to November 2023, more than 200 seminars were held at the School. Today, more than 220 certified graduates of Russian osteopathic schools are studying at the School. To date, 130 osteopaths have completed the PILOT School program.

• Organized and financed the translation and publication of books by Jean-Pierre Baral (1998 – 2001) and Leopold Busquet in Russia (2010 – 2011)
• Since 2012, Litvinov I. A. oversees the work of the Leopold Busquet school “Functional Chains” (France) in Russia.
• Since 2012, he has been a teacher at the James Jealous postgraduate school of biodynamic osteopathy “The Breath of Life” (USA). More than 70 seminars have been held.

Litvinov I. A. has a primary specialization in acupuncture (1990), classical homeopathy (1993), electroacupuncture diagnostics and treatment according to the method of R.Voll (1994), bioresonance therapy and vegetative resonance test (VRT) (1995), applied kinesiology (1993-1997).

• From 2007 to 2024, he is a permanent participant in international congresses on osteopathy “Osteopathy Open”, where he gave reports and short seminars.
• In the global osteopathic community, he is known as the author of the only in the world original collection of caricatures on osteopathic topics “Osteopathic Notes” (the book has undergone four publications and contains more than 1000 drawings). Many of the drawings from this book have been used for about 20 years by teachers in osteopathic colleges around the world, by authors of books on osteopathy and in various osteopathic journals. In 2015, a two-volume work “Osteopathic Notes – 3” was published with more than 1000 drawings.
