About Gregory Yesensky D.O.

Currently, Dr. Yesensky is a private practice osteopathic physician in Oregon.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Masters in Natural Science -concentrating in Immunology from the University of Buffalo- New York.

While in medical school, he pursued a deeper understanding of the Science of Osteopathy that led to meeting Dr. James Jealous DO where he began learning from him.  From 1997-2021, Dr. Yesensky actively trained in hands-on Traditional Osteopathy under the direct mentorship of James Jealous DO.

After medical school, he stayed in New York for medical residency training in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (FP/OMM) at Saint Barnabas Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College leading to board certification in both fields. He served as Chief Resident in this program.  Greg spent his rotations treating adults and children as inpatients, outpatients, in the intensive care unit, in the emergency room, before and after surgery and in the newborn nursery.  Additionally, He was able to perform many anatomical dissections on cadavers and stillborn babies to foster the continual learning of osteopathic principles.

After residency, he received further training in Virology at the University of Southern California which led to board certification to treating those infected with HIV.

Professionally, he has served at several community based medical care centers between New York, Arizona, California, and Oregon working as an osteopathic physician for adults and children including adult and pediatric outpatient care, urgent care, in patient care, HIV and Hepatitis care all with emphasis on traditional osteopathy as Dr. Still envisioned.

Dr. Yesensky has been teaching osteopathic work at numerous courses both nationally and internationality since 2003 and is on the teaching faculty for the Biodynamics of Osteopathy program, BioBasics teaching Faculty, and he serves as an instructor at the Swiss Osteopathic Center for Kids, the Bavarian Pediatric School & Clinic for Traditional Osteopathy, and St. Petersburg (Russia) Osteopathic Clinic for Children, where groups of osteopaths come to work and train in Pediatric Osteopathy.

He is Adjunct Faculty for both Touro University and A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine where he mentor’s 3rd and 4th year rotating students in his office to assist their learning of family medicine based hands-on osteopathic manipulation skills in treating all types of medical conditions.
