About Elizabeth Caron, D.O.

Dr. Caron has been involved with the biodynamic faculty since 2004.  She studied with Dr. Jealous for 24 years and was part of the curriculum development  with Dr. Jealous for the Anatomy 101-103 courses. She has experience in Academic Osteopathic Medicine, being the curriculum director at the University of New England and assistant clinical professor at UNECOM, NYCOM and Western University Lebanon campus.  In addition, she started and developed the curriculum for the Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Oregon.

The emphasis for her career has been clinical medicine, having founded three clinics.  Her current endeavors are at Osteopathic Healthcare in Talent, OR concentrating on pediatric and pregnancy Osteopathic care.

Having many years of experience in the arts as a professional modern dancer fuels Elizabeth’s approach to Osteopathy.   She comes from a long family history of teachers and her personal teaching experience includes the following appointments: Director of Curriculum, Program Director, Attending Physician and University Clinical Professor.  Some of the locations of these appointments include: St. Barnabas Hospital, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Western Heath University of Health Sciences, Good Samaritan Hospital, University Health Center and Private practice in New York and Oregon.  She has taught at Osteopathic Schools in Japan and Canada as well as Continuing Medical education internationally.

Her residency training was at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY and undergraduate medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine where she graduated with academic honors.  She has three board certification specialties: Neuromusculoskeletal /Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Pain Medicine and Alternative Medicine.  She has now returned to General Practice after over 18 years of clinical experience.

Her special interests include pregnancy and pediatric care.
