This course delves into the essential role of perception and anatomy as taught by AT Still, William Sutherland, and Jim Jealous.  We will turn our attention to the nervous system in fostering whole-body health and balance. From digestion and mood to hormones, immunity, cognition, and sleep, the nervous system’s influence permeates every aspect of our wellbeing. Dysfunction in these areas often reflects imbalances in the central, autonomic, and enteric nervous systems. In this course, we will explore these intricate relationships, emphasizing a biodynamic approach to healing that honors the body’s innate intelligence.

Rooted in the principles of osteopathy, participants will cultivate a deep understanding of how to listen to the body’s inherent forces and work with—not against—the natural laws of healing. No techniques will be taught; instead, we will focus on perceiving and cooperating with Primary Respiration, the Tide, and Dynamic Stillness, recognizing that healing unfolds in timeless moments through the life force that sustains us.

Through inquiry-led exploration and practical sessions, we will delve into:

  • Perceiving Anatomy through the Biodynamic Model
  • Supporting Meningeal Health
  • CNS Evaluation and Differential Diagnosis
  • Understanding Segmentation and the Midline
  • Working with the Notochordal Midline
  • The Biodynamic Sacrum and its Role in Health

This course is designed to foster a profound understanding of the nervous system’s healing potential within the context of the Whole, aligning practice with the natural rhythms of life and health. Throughout this journey, participants will deepen their ability to listen, observe, and hold space for the nervous system’s inherent wisdom, fostering an environment where health can manifest in its fullest potential. This course flows with your questions and insights, inviting a collaborative exploration of the nervous system’s role in the Whole.
