Embryology Through a Biodynamic Lens
T. Carmine Van Deven, DO and Deborah Heath, DO
Recordings Available On-Demand Until March 31, 2025
This course offers a review of embryology through the lens of Dr. Blechschmidt’s biodynamic model, presented as the recordings of six previously live online sessions that total over nine hours of content. An emphasis is placed on the metabolic needs of the embryo and their influence on form and function in the first eight weeks of life. This is in contrast to the traditional view of the dominant role that genetics play in these early weeks of growth and development. This self-paced course provides insight to the persistence of these same embryonic forces as the basis of healing and the sustenance of health throughout one’s lifespan. Unique to this course is a series of questions that emerged during the sessions and were specifically addressed by Dr. Brian Friedman in a special video series of two and a half hours. This eleven and a half hour course is sure to stimulate further curiosity while providing a solid foundation in the principles of biodynamic embryology. In addition, a live Q&A Zoom session will be offered and scheduled for maximum participation. All videos are available to view online through March 2025. CME is not available.
