About April Smith D.O.

Dr. Smith is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family ​Physicians in Family Medicine ​and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internship and Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando.

She has also served as an Urgent Care Physician at AdventHealth’s CentraCare, and is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), The American Academy of Osteopathy, and The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA).

Dr. Smith has also completed a Masters in Public Health from the University of South Florida.

Before all this, Dr. Smith was a private piano teacher with a masters degree in music. With a background in massage therapy, Dr. Smith focuses on a comfortable, soothing approach to healing the whole person.
