Osteopathic Cranial Academy Annual Conference
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
As Conference Director, I would like to personally invite you to join us for what I believe is a unique opportunity for the Biodynamic osteopathic community.
Please save the date and plan to attend the Osteopathic Cranial Academy Annual Conference, June 17–20, 2027, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Conference Title: Communicating with the Living Digestive System
This conference represents a unique opportunity to showcase the depth, relevance, and clinical value of the Biodynamics of Osteopathy on a national stage. While the entire conference will not be exclusively Biodynamic, much of the program will be devoted to Biodynamic principles and clinical applications. Additional perspectives inspired by the work of William G. Sutherland, Robert Fulford, Alvira Miller, and Jean Pierre Barral will create a rich and comprehensive osteopathic experience.
Our community has long hoped for greater representation of the Biodynamics of Osteopathy at national conferences. Recent programs at the 2024 OCA Annual Conference and the 2026 AAO Convocation have begun to move us in that direction. But attendance matters. A strong showing in Indianapolis will demonstrate that there is a genuine desire for this work and will make it easier for future conferences to include Biodynamic faculty, courses, and the extraordinary teachings of Dr. James Jealous. Your presence can help shape the future of Biodynamic education.
Over four days, participants will explore the gastrointestinal system through a comprehensive osteopathic lens, examining the dynamic relationship between digestion, immunity, and systemic health. Through lectures and hands-on practical sessions, attendees will gain insight into structural, Biodynamic, visceral, and energetic approaches while developing practical skills that can immediately benefit their patients.
I am honored to serve as Conference Director, alongside the outstanding Nicole Peña, DO, Assistant Conference Director.
Biodynamic Faculty include:
- William M. Foley, DO, MSc
- Kathryn Gill, MD, FCA
- Stefan Hagopian, DO, FAAO
- Deborah Heath, DO
Additional faculty include longtime friends and students of Dr. James Jealous:
- Michael Burruano, DO, FCA
- Andrew Goldman, DO, FCA
- Keelyn Wu, DO
- Rajiv Yadav, DO
Your presence will do more than support a conference. It will help demonstrate that the Biodynamics of Osteopathy continues to have an important place in the future of our profession. Please join us in Indianapolis to celebrate the richness of Biodynamic Osteopathy, honor the legacy of Dr. James Jealous, connect with colleagues, and help ensure that this work continues to inspire future generations of osteopathic physicians.
Thank you for your consideration. I sincerely hope to see you in Indianapolis.
Warm regards,
Bill
